Land Rover continues as Official Vehicle Partner of The Festival of British Eventing for the 16th year running. Land Rover has 35 years heritage with equestrian sport and it all started at Gatcombe Park in 1983 when Land Rover came on board as sponsor of the very first Horse Trials staged at the Cotswold estate.
Since then, the iconic 4×4 brand has become synonymous with the equestrian community and its enduring lifestyle. Land Rover now supports several major equestrian events, including Royal Windsor Horse Show, the Land Rover Blair Castle Horse Trials and the pinnacle of the eventing season, the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials in September.
As Official Vehicle Partner of the Festival of British Eventing, Land Rover plays a key operational role at Gatcombe Park in transporting vets, doctors, course builders and officials around the venue, ensuring they can carry out their duties in the most efficient way possible.
Land Rover also supports many leading riders including Zara Tindall MBE, Sir Mark Todd, Harry Meade, Sir Lee Pearson CBE, Ben Maher MBE and Carl Hester MBE. Land Rover also recognises the importance of developing and nurturing talent at grassroots level and is a key partner of the Pony Club.
Since 1948 Land Rover has been manufacturing authentic 4x4s that represent true ‘breadth of capability’ across the model range. Discovery, Discovery Sport, Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Velar and Range Rover Evoque each define the world’s SUV sectors, with 80 per cent of this model range exported to over 170 countries.
