New Open Novice class at the Magic Millions Festival of British Eventing to be sponsored by Bredon School

The Magic Millions Festival of British Eventing (5-7 August) welcomes a brand new Open Novice class to its competition schedule to be sponsored by the Gloucestershire based Bredon School.

One of two new classes at Gatcombe Park, the Open Novice will provide an excellent opportunity for competitors to offer their rides a taste of the famous cross country course that meanders through Gatcombe Park.

Bredon School is a mainstream co-educational independent day and boarding school offering specialist Dyslexic teaching for children aged 8 to 18 years old.  Bredon embeds outdoor learning throughout the timetable because they passionately believe in educating the whole child.  Bredon is home to a working Farm, Forest and Bushcraft School as well as sporting, outdoor education and adventure activities for pupils to take part in.

Aatif Hassan, Chairman of Governors of Bredon School commented; “Bredon School offers their pupils a truly extraordinary academic and pastoral experience. Our breadth of curriculum is wide and exceptionally enriching and as such we have recently embedded horse riding into our timetable. A great sport which we are promoting and hence we are delighted to partner with The Festival this summer.”

Event Director Peter Phillips said: “We are excited to welcome Bredon School to our family of sponsors; their outdoor learning offering is incredible and like us, they are set in the beautiful Gloucestershire countryside.  We thank them for their support which is crucial to us being able to run an Open Novice class as part of our schedule.”

Entries are currently open for the Open Novice and can be made on the British Eventing website here.
