MAGIC MILLIONS EXTENDS THREE-YEAR DEAL WITH THE FESTIVAL OF BRITISH EVENTING

In a piece of great news for the sport, Magic Millions, title sponsor of the Festival of British Eventing at Gatcombe Park, has signed a further three-year deal, taking its generous commitment up to 2025.

The Australian bloodstock auction house first teamed up with The Festival, a pivotal weekend in the British calendar, in 2018 when the Magic Millions British Open Championship was won, appropriately enough, by Australian rider, Christopher Burton.

This was Magic Millions’ first foray into the sport of eventing. They are in their third year of sponsorship, 2020 and 2021 having been missed due to the pandemic.

“This represents a magnificent milestone,” commented Magic Millions Co-owner Katie Page-Harvey. “Three years is a long time to wait.

“The dimensions that distinguish one year from the next, living as a community, sport, travel and celebrating outdoors, are all embodied in the Magic Millions Festival of British Eventing. This year will be a stand-out for this time-honoured event and the international equestrian community like no other, and we are delighted to be part of it for another three years.”

Event Director Peter Phillips added: “This is fantastic news for The Festival team and is a wonderful endorsement of both the sport of eventing and of this very popular weekend. The support and commitment from Magic Millions to 2025 will enable us to continue the evolution of the Festival of British Eventing to make it even more special, including for the 40th anniversary of the horse trials at Gatcombe next year.”
